Scope of Work — Phase Breakdown

Phase 0 — Site Prep & Erosion Control

Locates, Survey, Silt Fence, Layout, MOT
  • Private locates for underground utility marking (also call 811)
  • Surveyor to stake top of bank and proposed grade points (all areas same day)
  • Install Type III silt fence (300 LF) per FDOT standards — placed between patios and work areas, both sides
  • Install inlet/M.E.S. protection at all stormwater inlets (13 EA)
  • Layout staking (LS) for all work areas
  • M.O.T. plan implementation (cones, barriers, spotters)
Duration: 3 days | Silt fence placed between patios and work areas, both sides

Phase 1 — Excavation / Regrading / Palm Grinding

Mobilization, Palm Grinding, Excavation, Swale Grading
  • Mobilization & staging at east lawn past pool equipment area
  • Grind approximately 24 palm stumps adjacent to pool deck to depth that accommodates regrading (stumps NOT removed)
  • Clear vegetation within proposed grading areas
  • Excavate trenches
  • Underground demolition of existing drainage structures within trench/regrade areas
  • Grade swales (6,600 SF) to proposed elevations per plan
  • Maintain erosion control devices throughout grading
Duration: 7 days | 24 palm stumps + trench excavation + 6,600 SF swale grading

Phase 2 — Storm Drainage Systems

PVC Pipe, Basins, Downspouts, Fittings
  • Install 8" PVC pipe (196 LF)
  • Install 10" PVC pipe (162 LF)
  • Install 12" PVC pipe (96 LF)
  • Install 12" drain basins with grates (11 EA)
  • Install single downspout assemblies (7 EA)
  • Install double downspout assemblies (5 EA)
  • Install fittings: 8"x6" tees (4), 8"x8" tees (5), 10"x6" tees (3), 8"x6" sweep tees (5), 8"x6" reducers (5)
Duration: 8 days | 454 LF total pipe + 11 catch basins + 12 downspouts

Phase 3 — Concrete / Asphalt / Sod Restoration

M.E.S., Flowable Fill, Concrete, Asphalt, Sod, Closeout
  • Install concrete M.E.S. (2 EA)
  • Backfill with low-density flowable fill (CLSM 50–150 psi) up to 6" limerock base
  • Final course 1.5" S-3 asphalt
  • Concrete sidewalk removal & replacement (25 LF, 4" thick, 3,000 psi)
  • Concrete curb removal & replacement (16 LF / 2 sections, joint to joint)
  • Asphalt pavement replacement at trench cuts (11 SY)
  • Place St. Augustine sod over all exposed regraded soil (6,925 SF)
  • Maintain erosion control until site is fully stabilized
  • Silt fence takedown after final approval
  • Surveyor to take certified as-built plans (all areas same day)
  • Final site walk & inspection with NV5
Duration: 7 days | M.E.S. + flowable fill + concrete + asphalt + 6,925 SF sod + closeout
